Estimating integration scope at bid stage
The protocols and controllable range of on-site equipment directly affect integration effort and pricing. Confirming scope before bidding avoids discovering gaps after award.
A gap in the assessment items
Where the planned systems fall short on a specific item, that part can be adopted on its own without changing the rest of the plan.
Retrofitting an existing building
Where equipment is already running and the site cannot be shut down or rewired, we can assess what is reachable over existing protocols.
A system left without support after handover
Where the original integrator is no longer reachable, or the system has no documentation, we can assess the scope of taking it over or rebuilding it.
What to prepare
None of the following is required, but the more complete it is, the more specific the assessment:
- Equipment list with make and model
- Protocol or control interface documentation for existing equipment
- Target grade or specific assessment items
- Site type and scale
- Schedule milestones
